When you accept our offer, our own service engineers schedule the de-installation and removal, you get paid, and the logistics are ours to manage — including the removal expenses.

Every rental is truly turnkey. The monthly rate covers delivery, placement, and complete setup — including PACS/RIS networking and scan-protocol configuration — along with full parts and labor on both the scanner and the mobile trailer, scheduled preventive maintenance, 24/7 technical support with emergency response, and on-site applications training for your technologists. Helium and cryogen coverage are included at no additional cost on MRI units, and every mobile PET/CT ships with a fully equipped hot lab on board.
Deployment is fast. A planned mobile rental is typically on-site within about 30 days of a signed agreement, and we can move faster for an emergency down-scanner situation. Site preparation is straightforward, and we guide you through all of it: a level concrete or asphalt pad with adequate turning clearance, 480-volt / 200-amp three-phase power (an onboard generator handles environmental load and transit but is not used for scanning), trailer and patient-side pop-out clearance, and a PACS/RIS connection so studies route straight into your reading workflow. Rental rates scale with system capability and term — longer agreements lower the monthly cost — and on longer PET/CT commitments we offer lease-to-own structures that apply your payments toward an end-of-term buyout. After inspection, we ship our own OEM-specified tools to the site, then disassemble, pack, and transport the equipment to our facility. Our in-house refurbishment process is performed entirely within our 25,000-square-foot, FDA-certified, climate-controlled facility, and includes sanding and painting of all components, replacing and repairing worn parts, full electrical refurbishment, final calibration and performance evaluation, and QA (phantom) testing. After you select a scanner, we provide a blueprint based on the exact make and model you have chosen. Each drawing covers equipment location and layout, environmental and HVAC requirements, power requirements and wiring diagrams, RF shielding and magnetic-field considerations, and equipment delivery requirements and procedures. Our modality-specific site-planning guidance lays it all out in advance so you can plan accurately, stay within budget, and make the installation process a breeze.
All equipment is bubble and shrink wrapped for stability by our expert warehouse team. Large items are packed into Gaylord boxes on pallets, with smaller items packed into appropriately sized boxes. When large equipment is shipped overseas, our team vapor wraps and crates it for maximum protection. Intel Imaging maintains excellent relationships with overseas shippers, so whether you need ocean or air export, you can trust that we are ready to handle the process.
An experienced modality-specialist service engineer and technician handle your installation, supported by a dedicated project manager. The equipment is carefully inventoried, wrapped, packed, and strapped for safety, then shipped to your facility. Once our engineer confirms the magnet and supporting equipment are placed in the correct areas, they connect the system components, calibrate, and QA test. We guarantee your scanner will be patient-ready — and our team works around your facility’s schedule throughout.
Our 25,000-square-foot warehouse holds every system we are refurbishing, preparing to pack and ship, or servicing. Intel Imaging's professionals can run up to 15 projects at once, and the warehouse is large enough to hold 8 MRI magnets at a time. We also house a docking bay, a sanding booth, a mixing booth, and a painting booth so we can complete your project faster and under one roof.
