Designed for leading medical centers, research institutions, and specialized cardiology/oncology clinics, the Discovery CT750 HD overcomes the resolution limits of traditional CT systems by introducing GE’s Gemstone™ Detector material.
By capturing micro-structures at 0.23 mm spatial resolution, the Discovery CT750 HD produces crisp detail in fine vascular networks, inner ear structures, and small abdominal lesions. When paired with Gemstone Spectral Imaging (GSI), the system alternates between 80 kVp and 140 kVp energy levels in under 0.25 milliseconds, enabling fast dual-energy material decomposition (such as iodine mapping, virtual non-contrast rendering, and uric acid crystal detection) without motion artifacts.
