Description

The GE Discovery VCT PET/CT System bridges high-speed volumetric CT imaging with advanced molecular PET diagnostics. Built on GE’s 64-slice LightSpeed VCT platform paired with high-efficiency BGO crystal detectors, the system captures 40 mm of anatomical coverage per rotation at speeds as fast as 0.35 seconds. This capability allows clinicians to freeze cardiac motion, perform non-invasive coronary angiography, and evaluate subtle oncological lesions across 2D, 3D, and 4D PET acquisition modes in a single, streamlined exam.
