Built to overcome the traditional challenges of 3T systems—such as standing wave/dielectric shading artifacts and patient claustrophobia—it pairs a short, $70\text{ cm}$ flared wide-bore design with MultiDrive RF Transmit technology. This multi-channel parallel RF system automatically regulates signal amplitude and phase to deliver uniform tissue excitation across large body areas.
Integrated with GE’s GEM (Geometry Embracing Method) Suite, the scanner utilizes ultra-lightweight, flexible coils that contour to the patient’s body. Combined with OpTix Optical RF Architecture, which converts analog signals to optical digital data right inside the scan room, the MR750w GEM delivers the signal integrity and contrast required for complex neurological, cardiac, bariatric, and musculoskeletal imaging.
